For the Joy of Swimming

As self-professed, swimming obsessed water lovers, we believe the joy of swimming is something everyone deserves to discover.
Swimming knows no age. It’s for the young and the old, and everyone in between. It’s for first time learners and lifelong water lovers; serenity seekers and adrenaline junkies; high-level competitors; and everyday exercisers.
Swimming is not only a life saving skill, but also a life changing activity. It’s for building confidence, learning something new and developing life skills.
It’s for watching your loved ones learn and succeed it’s for being part of a supportive community, a place you can connect to and be proud of.
Swimming is for everyone and it’s whatever you want it to be. That’s the magic, and the joy of swimming and it’s never too late to start.
That’s why we created a safe environment for our local communities to learn to swim, or simply just enjoy being in the water, your way. Our reason for being is to share our passion for, and love of swimming, to help you find confidence in the water and unlock a lifetime of benefits and enjoyment.

Swim with us and discover your joy.

 What is SwimTastic?

SwimTastic is a state-of-the-art and award-winning swimming school facility based in Merton Road, St Johns Auckland. Recognised as a Gold Class quality swim school by Swimming New Zealand and NZ Swim Coaches & Teachers Association. SwimTastic contains two pools (a four lane 25-meter pool and a six lane 25-meter pool) that provide a safe environment for our local communities to learn to swim with lessons for children from 3 months of age, alongside an ability- based swim school designed to challenge swimmers of all levels and abilities.

SwimTastic pools operate with a state-of-the-art filtration system. The pool water is run through Ultraviolet (UV) light rays as well as being chlorinated. The UV systems works by emitting a high intensity light ray that destroys algae, bacteria, and viruses, as well as some chlorine-resistant parasites.
